Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Welcome to Apollo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Apollo mobile application ("the App") provided by Høi Z ENK ("HØISETH", "we", "us"), a sole proprietorship registered in Norway.

By downloading, installing, or using Apollo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Apollo is a personal ritual and journaling application designed to support inner work, reflection, and self-exploration through symbolic tools — including a Shadow Journal, tarot drawing, numerology, runes, and an AI-generated daily Oracle reading.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Apollo. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@hoiseth.no of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Apollo offers optional paid subscriptions and one-time in-app purchases (such as the Norse Oracle Deck) through the Apple App Store. All payments are processed by Apple under their terms.

5. Refunds

All purchases are final, except as required by law. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled directly by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds for App Store transactions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including the design, logos, text, graphics, software, oracle deck artwork, and all other materials — is the property of HØISETH or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Content you create within the App (journal entries, ritual logs, etc.) remains yours.

8. Disclaimer — Reflective Content

Apollo provides symbolic tools — tarot, numerology, runes, oracle readings — for the purposes of personal reflection, creative exploration, and entertainment. The App is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or spiritual advice.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or are in need of urgent support, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

9. Disclaimers and Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HØISETH and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 NOK, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for any user who violates these Terms or engages in conduct that is unlawful or harmful.

12. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of Norway, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence applies.
